August 2011: Fulmar boss in PrintWeek Power100
Francois Golicheff ranked 'one of industry's most inflential individuals'
CPI UK's flamboyant CEO Francois Golicheff has been ranked as
'one of the (UK print) industry's most influential individuals' in
the annual PrintWeek Power 100, announced this evening.

The trade magazine's 10th annual assessment of the movers and
shakers in UK print has placed Golicheff in 14th place, moving him
up the leader board from his entry position at 15 in last year's
poll.
Francois Golicheff took over as chief executive of UK's biggest
book printer, including commercial print division Fulmar
Colour, in December 2009 and is, according to PrintWeek,
'becoming a legend with colleagues and customers for his Gallic
charm'.
The PrintWeek article goes on to credit the new management team
'headed by Golicheff and chief finance officer Mike Williams -
described as the yin to Golicheff's yang' with having 'streamlined
its manufacturing and controlled costs, boosted company turnover by
£5m and announced plans to invest £22m in new
technology.'
A public vote from customers, suppliers and other print industry
professionals formed part of the ranking process. According to
PrintWeek, 'One voter said that Golicheff's hands-on approach to
customer service has pushed CPI to the next level of quality'.
